We meet up a few times a month to pull invasive plants, clear trash, and give the natives room to come back.
Everyone is welcome. No experience, no account, no dues — pick a date, bring a friend, and we'll show you what to do when you get there.
Nothing on the calendar just yet.
New dates usually go up a few weeks ahead. In the meantime, see what we've done together.
Every storm drain, side street, and hillside on this map drains to one stream. The Jones Falls rises in the Baltimore County countryside, gathers the North Branch and Deep Run, pools behind the dam at Lake Roland, then runs south through the city — past Mount Washington, Woodberry, and Hampden — before disappearing underground downtown and emptying into the Inner Harbor. What we pull out of the woods up here never reaches the harbor down there.
About 58 square miles drain to the Inner Harbor. The shaded stretches are where we hold parties. Streams and rivers come from the USGS National Hydrography Dataset, and the boundary from the USGS Watershed Boundary Dataset.
Been a few times? Here's what hosting one involves. A couple of hours, no account, and you can say no to any of them.
